This one had me stumped. Had to come back in the late afternoon, just about gave up.

This was a real headbanger for me! Tough indeed. I was completely stumped at 3 and like ddsack kept coming back to it hoping for enlightenment! Finally after several hours intermittently trying all different combinations I saw it! Awesome job, Pondgardner, to get it in 3!!! That’s just plain impressive!

That particular word is a very unusual combination of letters. I know I tend to look for letters that commonly go together when trying to come up with the next guess but it just isn't a combination I would normally look for, like QU for example, Or CK or CH, or ING. Hope that isn't a spoiler for anyone. If you think it might be give me a heads up and I will delete this.

I got stuck on the 4th attempt and couldn't move forward. I had deduced by that time that the last letter had to be the one it turned out to be. I was getting nowhere, so I looked up five letter words that ended with that particular letter. I punched in what
turned out to be the correct answer. But the bottom line is I cheated.

And I don't feel that bad about it, lol.

Lost this one which should have been easier. Simply too many possibilities and I chose all the wrong ones! First loss since forever! Keeps me on my toes! Tomorrow is another day!
