Re: Jardín del Gotch
@MissS "Mrs. Gotch is going to by busy in the kitchen." Her adoring husband will be as well.
Anywho, a plan is in place; Zoodles & Shredded shrink-wrapped for the freezer and Zuke Fries. The embarrassingly easy carrot-on-the-stick will be the @karstopography grilled Peppers recipe.
"Are your greenies any bigger than that?"
Yes, and we've had some larger, ripe SOTWs, as well.
"Since the seed came from me I just want to be sure that there was not a cross."
I think they were crowded a tad; some of the vines have reached > 8 feet/2.44 meters, but they're west (somewhat shaded) of some absolutely monstrous Opalka Heirlooms, and against an east facing wall.
Everything seems to be ~two (2) weeks behind here; you?

@Cornelius_Gotchberg Everyone is having a late season this year and yes I am as well. I am later than you because my plants went in later than yours but then all of my spring flowers were later than yours too. Still I have harvested a couple of tomatoes while my neighbors are still waiting. Every year is different when you are gardening.

@MissS; "all of my spring flowers were later than yours too."
Yikes! And my flowers were THE_LATEST_EVAH!
Never had to wait 'til May 31st for the 1st Peony, and the generally mid-July, brilliantly orange Ligularia Dentata 'Desdemona' blooms have yet to make an appearance.

Made a swap {Daniel Burson, Greenbush Italian, Sheboygan, Santa Maria, Opalka, Yaqui, Costoluto Genovese} with an Iron County pal who's Tomato crop was decimated by a late freeze/horn worms; made out pretty well!

Re: Jardín del Gotch
MONSTER (> 11"/28 cm) aptly named Giant Marconi up top with five (5) Carmen Hybrids below, destined for the grill tonight.
The Rose (H/T to provider @MissS) is a prolific BIG FRUIT producer, and makes a strong case for becoming a part of the permanent rotation. This Rose Heirloom, sliced for samitches, was a wonder to behold; heck, we almost didn't want to sink our teeth into it.....almost... The Gotch
Upon returning from eight (8) days in Iron County, we come to find our remaining Daniel Bursons had succumbed to dastardly predation; had to be something bigger than a MunkaChippa. Decided to harvest what was still on the Ananas Noire (top tray, with a ripe Boxcar Willie and two (2) Greenbush Italian in the lower left) and Rose Heirloom (bottom two [2]) plants, as they had suffered a similar fate. The discerning eye will detect photo-bombing toes attached my 14 EEEE to the right. The Rose (H/T to provider @MissS) is a prolific BIG FRUIT producer, and makes a strong case for becoming a part of the permanent rotation. Well those critters are showing that they have good taste. They went after 2 of my favorite tomatoes. I enjoy both Daniel Burson and Rose and both of them are on my top 10 list.

Three (3) appropriately named Sweet Sunset Hybrid Sweet Peppers, which will be going into the lovely and long suffering Mrs.Gotch's OKSuedillas:
Zukes 'round these parts usually wind down ~2nd week in August at the latest; never, and I mean NEVER, have I ever harvested Honkers anywhere near September! That's a near flawless Boxcar Willie photo-bombing.

On_Deck_Circle for the resident Saucier, who just so happens to double as the lovely and long suffering Mrs. Gotch. Bottom middle-n-right-n-(most of the top right) trays, and why the Yaqui Hybrid is the hardest workin' determinate The Gotch has ever seen. Top left tray: San Marzano-n-a smattering of pink Sheboygan Heirlooms to the right. Bottom left-SOTW, Opalka, & (?):
Far left Guido Heirloom/middle top-Elmer's Plump/far right-Uncle Steve's Italian/middle bottom-Santa Maria Heirloom

Re: Jardín del Gotch
@MissS; Seeds-n-Such.
I can't sing it enough praises. They store well, are really firm, and don't get too mushy when when you use them on Jenny's Tomato Breads (a Gotch Household fave!) http://auntshoe.blogspot.com/2012/07/to ... nzeys.html
And the production from a smallish bush determinate? Fuggedaboudit!
