Clockwise from top left: Carmen, Gyspy, and Purple Beauty; the latter (IMO) not a suitably good candidate for grilling.

That poor Mrs Gotch. Soon she will be resembling a spider. With all of those huge zuc's you grew, she will be spinning for days.

Danged critters! If they would at least eat the whole thing and leave a few that would be one thing, but they don't. They take a bite from this one and that one, so none are good! Squirrels are terrible, and raccoons are the worst! Yes, we have raccoons in the city. They are NOT cute little woodland creatures! They are mean and trash the garden worse than a woodchuck. For them, a 9mm. Unfortunately that's illegal in the city.

Love the zuke ribbon! So many zukes, so little time!

Good luck with the Sweet Success, they're worth all the waitin' waitin' anticipatin'!

I had to replant three (3) times.

Glass half full?

We should have fresh Cukes in September; a first!

Hmmm the first one is definitely a dragon. The second one just really reminds me of the eternity of the cosmos, and how insignificant we all really are in the grand scheme of space and time.

I assume you see the same?

As advertised, they're good sized, I'll plant 'em next season.

That said, this has been a HORRIBLE Sauce/Paste Year in these here parts, Beefsteaks/Slicers not as bad, but Hell-n-Gone from last year's bounty.

Glass half full?

Beau coup Beefsteak/Slicers still greenin' on the vines; heck, it's only the Ides of August, am I right?
