Could I print or write it out on a piece of like 8.5x 11 paper? But then it'd need to be taped on. Or maybe should I just include a second padded envelope inside all ready to go?
I haven't done the pre-paid printed out postage label in a couple of years, and don't remember if clear tape can cover the machine readable parts of the label. So, it would be best to just send the printed label inside of your package, and I'll ask the post office personnel how to tape it on.

I don't know how to do a pre printed label with postage at home so I was just going to write it out the return address and address and then include postage or money for postage. I think maybe instead I just need to get two envelopes and make one a self addressed stamped package.

Sorry for the silly questions😥 I was trying to recycle packaging but I think it will make it way harder than needed.

Just a legible return address, written or printed, and return postage will do. There's no need for another bubble mailer or envelopes inside.

I would like to participate in this year's MMMM. I was in the hospital and didn't follow the threads connected to this event. I have been home for a fortnight and yesterday I sat down at the sewing machine for the first time to pack some seeds for this event. So far I have 24 packages (18 Start F1- the last remaining and 6 packages of Czech cherry Rubinka). I will try to send it via Czech Post. If that works out, I would be interested in some Dwarfs seeds.

BEAN question. I dried the beans, smashed one of each variety, froze all of them for 3 days, but have not checked to see if they will sprout.

Should I delay sending the package and see if the beans sprout to make sure, or just assume the beans will be viable?

If the pods thoroughly dried down on the vine before harvest, I doubt there would be germination problems. Just send them.

Great. All the seeds I’ll send in dried on the plant. This is the first time I saw the bean weevils so early, so into the freezer they went. Will get the small box off after the holiday. Thanks for the advice.

Tormato, how do you manage to stuff the return bags fat and still keep the postage low? I should know this
by now. What category of mail do you use?

I tried mailing a 8X10 padded envelope weighing 4.3 oz and it was $6.58. I tried to squish it to let the air out and fit in the half in slot. It went in but the clerk said it touched the top and would not accept it. WIthout the 1/2 inch restriction it would have been $2. The seeds were packed in the standard plastic craft bags.

I took it back to add more seeds and get my money's worth for the same package!

I sent these seeds by air to MMMM a fortnight ago. I'm just wondering if they really arrived at the right address.

Is @Tormato a dead name? Does @Tormahto no longer identify as @Tormato ?
