@MissS I had a look online for Daconil but it appears that was banned over here back in 2019 when were were still in the EU. I'll have a look into copper sprays though.

@Tim DH & @rossomendblot Thanks for the tip regarding blight resistant varieties. The problem I have is that I bought Carolyn's book years ago and I'm determined to grow some of the varieties in there. I'm probably punching above my weight though and perhaps it would be more prudent to heed your advice and actually get some edible fruit. I'm sure I can find room for an extra tomato plant

I can recommend Honeymoon F1 as a blight resistant pink beefsteak: it's one of the best tasting hybrids I've grown, and I got a decent yield outdoors. Rose Crush F1 (also sold as Crimson Blush) and Oh Happy Day F1 are pretty good too.

I've put those varieties on my list for next year. If I have blight problems this year then these resistant varieties will definitely be the route I'll take next season. Either that or try to convince Mrs moo that I absolutely need a greenhouse

Rather attractive don't you think? Do you have any experience with this one?

I ended up going with Honey Moon F1 anyway. Thanks again for the recommendation and I'll let you know how I get along with them

Yes, I grew Buffalosun a few years ago. It is a very pretty tomato but was lacking in oomph for my palate, though I am not a fan of yellow/orange tomatoes in general.
