That makes more sense than marinating, at least for my mom's use. Onion holder.

So I saw the made in Hong Kong and I thought, Hong Kong was British back then, these actually seem decent quality too. So I spent an hour last light down a hong kong rabbit hole, reading about their last 100 years and how Made in Hong Kong was a very well respected label up until the 90s.

I've got an old Pentax camera made in Hong Kong.
The really good ones were made in Japan.
You could only buy them in Japan

I used one of those for chopping very small onions, worked okay, might be the design use.

This box went in the compost, it a box, big deal. But as I was breaking it down I thought, it was a nice box...that was probably in the drawer as dividing walls since...late 70s? I'd swear every commercial artist grew up in the city and never ever saw a deer other than bullwinkle or rudolf. Looks like a horned antelope.

Didn't have any aluminum pie plates so I had to start looking for my glass ones.
Good lord I had no idea there were so many.
You'd think I was running a pie bakery.
There's a ton of them.
My wife was a pie plate collector I guess.
How many pie plates does one need?
It's a cupboard I rarely go into because everything is glass.
