I've been taking a break with the micros lately in order to get all the regular tomatoes out the door and into the ground. Got six dwarfs on the porch hardening off. But tomorrow I will be starting four more micros for MMMM seed; Chibbiko, Dark Stripe, Hahm's Gelbes Topftomate and House. The only one of those I haven't done before is Dark Stripe.

Meanwhile, an update on the four micros I started Feb 19:

Fat Frog - 14" tall, 3 fruit clusters with one of those having marble-sized fruit

Lille Lise - 14" tall, 2 fruit clusters and lots of flowers, probably more than the other three micros.

Minibel - 27" tall and out on the porch doing her thing. 3 fruit clusters, one of which has quarter-sized greenies and the other two are nickle-sized fruits. Lots of flowers. Debating on putting her out there on the pallets with the big boys.

Curly Kaley - 13" tall, 2 flower clusters, one of which is starting fruit. This is a real stocky plant!

It has very rugose foliage, supposedly where it gets its name from.

I have this vision of the inside of your house.... micro plants everywhere! In every room on shelves, on desks, on all tables, on the floor and you two stepping around them all. ROFL! You are very lucky to have a DH who is so understanding. :D

@GoDawgs already fruits! Dang! My spring has been super cold. It has only started warming up i hope my tomatoes can catch up. They all have flowers but i dont know if they will be able to set until later in summer.

I restarted jochalos again for like the 3rd time and finally this one seems to be doing ok. What a drama queen.

Yes, I did stake Maglia Rosa and had to top it to keep it from growing past the lights. Near the end of March she went outside to sit on the foot of the porch steps where she can get some sun.

Now she;'s getting near the end. From this morning:

Most of the lower foliage has been pruned as it starts to yellow. She's still trying to put put a few cherries at the top though.

Whipper Snapper was a fast grower. I just let it hang over the porch railing. This is from May '20:

Thanks @GoDawgs , ill have to stake my maglias, they get tall!

Im trying to decide what do do about suckers. In micros I never prune. But i dont want these two to get too unruly...

I also put the extras I had in the garden and now im not sure how to manage whippers vining habit ... Maybe i try to give her some sort of direction somehow....Guess we see what happens.

Never heard of that one, you got so many varieties unheard to me.

My micros are all flowering.

Except jochalos wich is still at its first set of true leaves.... Ugh. It better be as good as everyone says because it has been an incredibly infuriating variety!
