Once again the first peony of the year is the fern leaf cross peony. @Cornelius_Gotchberg this is the one given to you. It always takes my breath away.

Anywho, I have some similarly flowering Itoh Peonies, near which our newly acquired (and MUCH APPRECIATED!) participant will reside.

Watered all the Peonies (and nearly everything else) today; the energy of greater'n a hundred blooms is in the air.

My Fern-leafed Peony is always the first peony to bloom. I decided to light her up so that I could enjoy her even more.

This is a fern-leafed peony which blooms way ahead of the pack. It's a species type with small delicate flowers. The larger peonies are still waiting to put on their show.
