WI Sc P (2 packages) I love the tomato print mask. I'll wear it at special occasions, like when visiting the post office.

How many letters did you get in the meantime, Tormato? A white envelope, a green envelope and a special air-mail envelope are/were on the way to you.

A couple more are due, but I don't know how long I can wait for them.
Currently in SPZ (seed packing zombie) mode, having a few newbie packages that might be departures on Monday.

GERM Clara (#3) the one with #1 wanted varieties
That's the good news. The bad news is that I can't find the most requested variety in the swap, Ambrosia Gold. I'll keep looking for it.
And, the other not so good news, is that the local post office (possibly like many across the country?) is in near meltdown mode. I've heard that, because of covid, people are mailing not traveling. The number of holiday letters and packages is estimated to go up from 900 million last year to over 3 billion this year.

I do my part.

I don't know how you have things organized, but I sent in 10 packs of Ambrosia Gold with my seeds. They're in clear plastic 2 x 2 zip lock bags with an insert typed on white paper giving the name and description if that helps.

I've currently got 3 packages sitting at Detroit's hub, one from Maryland & another from Michigan. I'm getting tired of checking USPS tracking only to find they aren't moving. But such is life in post covid world.

I've shipped 6 priority 2 day packages 2 weeks ago. Still "Delayed in transit".

I agree that the post office is pretty overwhelmed. I've found a few random pieces of mail on the ground that looked like Christmas card envelopes when I was out walking the dog. I imagine the extra mail and small packages our carrier has with him is literally spilling out of the bag as he walks around. And the few seeds I've ordered have taken a very long time to arrive, including one that appears to have gone missing or is just stranded somewhere since the tracking hasn't changed in over a week.
If you decide to wait to send any stuff out until early or mid-January I'd be fine with that. Or maybe send stuff out to the southernmost people first if they might be more anxious to get seeds going.
