Does it matter what size and resolution? I remember on the old site, one had to downsize pics or else it stretched out the page.

I changed the limit to "0" MiB instead if pixels, try that again.

Fiber from cbd hemp is usually waste product. It has to be ground and stored out of the sun, and the cbd percentage is too low to extract. Varieties grown for fiber produce a superior fiber product, anyway. There are people researching a use for it, I am sure. I have even seen some seed producers throwing away their flower biomass. Prices right now are about $1 per percentage point of cbd per pound. I will have 2-300 pounds to take to processing, at about $15 per pound, which is not bad for just a half acre plot, but the seeds are where the real money is.

I just tried a 3.8mb pic and it wouldn't upload. If there is a file size limit, I can resize. But I don't know the limit.

That's 6000 X 4465 pixels, almost twice as large as my camera files. Check the size under the pic. It should work now?

I am getting close to being able to get a count. 100-250k is my estimate, but that is just a guess.

Taking a sample by weight and estimating, my count comes out to 106,000. They are a little rough looking. Now to test germination.

Thanks, Bower. To be fair to my clipper, any damage that came from processing was likely from grinding up the buds. A small crop can be crushed by hand, but I had about 400 pounds to process. I used a paint mixing wand and an electric drill. I have heard of elaborate machines that use compressed air, but I am sure they are over my head. I know of one guy locally who bought a combine head built to grind hemp. It is used when parked at the barn and the hemp is fed by hand into it. That machine was $30k and one still must have a combine.

The usda is about to set some very restrictive rules in place, but not until 2021 in my state at least. Just my biomass yield on my half acre is going to make about $7,000, and that is after cbd prices have fallen substantially. Beans or corn would have made about a hundred bucks, by comparison. I think there is still a great opportunity for small farmers here in 2020. It will get much harder in 2021. The new rules on thc content will force farmers to grow less profitable varieties.

Fingers crossed there's no damage and a perfect seed germination rate. Paint wand sounds like a good stand-in to grind out those seeds. The combine gear is so expensive... Would need major acreage to pay for that. Hard to imagine making those investments with so many changes happening so fast in the industry.

Next thing will be allotments like cotton.
Then the only ones that can afford to grow the crops wiil be be big Ag ran by corporations.
