Its a Bolgaraskoe Chudo. What a great variety! Sooooooo good. I wish it was more productive.

That's one of my very favorites. I had good to very good production in 2023 but less so in 2024 because it couldn't set fruit in the unusually high heat we had mid-summer. I'm hoping I'll get more fruit this month now that the weather has moderated. The plant has put out a lot of beautiful new growth in the last few weeks.

Great! I just received seeds last week. I'll have to try it.

Well, this one has got to be the largest tomato I've ever grown. I don't know what's going on with my Pink Brandywine this year, but all of its fruits are huge...

Guess I'm through with the contest this year. Not more monsters from my plants, the summer heat destroyed my chances for anymore. Blossoms dropped, plants got leggy and bug ridden. 🐛 Let it be said it's not possible to grow tomatoes for the fall in Texas.
Time for me to yank 'maters and start on monster cabbage. 🙂

Some BIG tomatoes!!!

I did not get a picture, but my largest this season was Neves Azorean Red with 1 non-blemished, single blossom 23.95 oz tomato. Was a beauty, meant to take a photo but then we had company coming, I needed counter space and had to clear all my tomatoes off and it got cut up and frozen.

@Cornelius_Gotchberg That's quite the load that the plant was carrying. Imagine the size of the fruit if you had removed some blossoms. I also noticed that yours, like mine, had no megablooms this year.

What is the lead so far? This will be probably be the biggest off my plant. This one felt really solid, whereas the first I weighed at 31 oz felt light for size.
