OMG is this even a common word today? I am on my last guess, I have 3 of 5 letters in correct position and I just can't see it, lol. Going to keep working on it. Maybe leave it and go back later.

This one took me a while. I was about to throw in the towel. I think many people mispronounce it as another similar word.

3 words by changing ONE letter, why do I ALWAYS guess every wrong word first?

@Sue_CT write the three words down firstly on a bit of paper, then start from the bottom and work up....

@Sue_CT However, the correct answer is that you probably don't realise there could be another word when you DO get the right word the first time. And so it only registers as bad luck when you don't get it right and so it appears you always fail to do it first time.I

I knew all 3 words before I made a guess. Had them all ready. Then tried them one at a time. Same people in the same spot seem to get the correct word the first time, in 3 guesses. I had the same information and it took 5. Why? Did the others even see all 3 words? I am just odd. I have a family member, much less educated, gets them routinely in 3 guesses to my five. I am just frustrated with it today.

@Sue_CT In that case I would write them down in the order you think and then start at the bottom...

@Sue_CT If it works mind you, can you also give me the first three places horses in the next Kentucky derby as you see it. I'll do the rest.......
