This girl was raised up poor in LA and a total recluse.
She even talked her way out of her contract with the record label because she couldn't stand the lifestyle they forced upon her.
Her name is Hope Sandoval.
It's hard to believe she's 55 years old now and still preforms.
The song seems like yesterday.

I knew what song that was going to be before I even saw the title! I played that for a friend, after he had separated, and he said "why the he** did you play this with me here?". I said something like "You don't know this song? Listen closely..." It starts out like a slow, tear jerker song, then the title line, Thank God And Greyhound You're Gone! He just started laughing, and said "You're really sick!" I said " Yeah, but I got you to laugh!"

My son finally opened his eyes to see how our DIL played him all along. The song above is my favorite. It's the "Let There Be Light" part that plays into this scenario.
