Yes I used R, K, L, and P, all were also valid words. V was going to be next. But too many words, not enough guesses left. 5 words by changing just one letter, and you only get 6 guesses. So at that point it becomes just luck if you pick the correct one. I went for more common words at first, when that didn't work I tried a little known word, or at least one that isn't used every day, but missed it. Oh well. I just like it to test my vocabulary and problem solving, rather than be a guessing game based on luck.

I have a link to Wordle archives that is stil working. So I've been playing the archived puzzles. On one puzzle I was down to my 6th attempt and I had to choose between FOCAL or LOCAL. I had a 50/50 chance to win or lose. I lost, lol.

My Wordle archive site was "requested", ahem, by the New York Times to shut down. Immediately.
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. So we are back to playing only one puzzle per day and if you miss the chance to play that day, you are SOL.

So do i, but I understand the NYT's desire to make a profit off of the game.

She beat me, I am at 95% and my longest streak is 37 words in row. Of coarse that doesn't count when I was playing the archive.

Has anyone done todays Wordle? I admit I am struggling with it today. I don't want the answer, I could cheat and google that but I don't see the point in playing if I was going to do that, lol. Can you just tell me if it is a fairy common and well known word or something more obscure?

Somehow I got it on the second try. Using noise as my starting word helped lol.
