Re: Ugliest Tomato Photo Contest 2020
The Cherokee Purple on the right next to a pretty Amish Paste, can’t remember what the other tomato was. This Cherokee Purple Ended up being 19 ounces. Not so bad to look at from the topside view. Pretty ugly on the blossom end. Ripened nicely and was tasty, no insect attacks and nothing other than the obvious scars to trim away.

Yay. Our first ugly tomato of 2020. It's the result of a fused blossom.

No tomato is ugly to the parent plant

My first New Big Dwarf blossom was huge one and it produced one big and ugly tomato. It is not yet completely ripe, but I had to pick it, because the cooling nights have brought higher humidity and botrytis has started to spread in the greenhouse.
This may be sliced for sandwiches tonight.

Re: Ugliest Tomato Photo Contest
While not the ugliest tomato I've ever raised, this catfaced monstrosity (26.47 ounce/750 gram Giant Garden Paste) deserves mention.

Also deserving of mention, these catfaced babies (clockwise from top left: Costoluto Genovese, Giant Garden Paste, & Black Krim) look like they've been sucking on lemons...

Perhaps not "classically" ugly, this Jefferson Giant is in the conversation...

Re: Ugliest Tomato Photo Contest
@MissS; the REALLY ugly ones are still green-n-vine-bound.
Please note the hole above the green lobe; looks like 3-in-1.
Tasty? We'll find out later today.
EDIT: It wanted its (arguably) better side to be displayed as well. The Gotch

I meant to post these pictures back in June. These are from a Tasmanian Chocolate that I started seed from in February. It is disturbingly ugly.
