Tomatoes starting to ripen

Some of my regular season tomatoes are starting to blush! My absolutely first tomatoes were off a Fat Jack plant that I started very early and put in a container in the greenhouse, so I'm not really counting that one.

The Dark Stripe Micros were my first ones. They're also in a container, but were set back month or so but a heater venting issue in the greenhouse they were in.

Peachy Keen and Cyril's Choice are later planted containers and are only a couple of weeks older than my tomatoes planted for going in the ground. Peachy Keen is usually not tremendously early, but I noticed one plant was flowering when the others were just starting to make buds. So I pulled that plant aside to keep (we sold the others) and bagged some of it's buds. It's first tomato just ripened and we're going to eat it tonight. One of the cluster that I bagged is blushing as well.

I pulled out the earliest Cyril's Choice as well ( though they're always early) so I could save some seeds and and it's getting close now.

Garden Pearl (Gartenperle) is usually my first tomato but they didn't get planted on time this year, so it's just starting now.

I think the Grail is just beginning to blush, though you can't really see it in the picture.

No, I think it's just Grail. It's moderately popular on some of the Russian tomato forums, though it was bred in the US by Dean Slater. I got the original seed from a seller in Latvia.

I grew it last year, but it was kind of an afterthought and didn't get enough attention. I still thought it was pretty good, though, so I saved seeds and made a point of giving it a better spot this year. I'm looking forward to tasting one that hasn't been neglected.

Yes, the Grail is definitely ripening. Last year they had kind of metallic stripes on them, which I don't see here. Maybe they develop later. I wasn't paying a ton of attention to them last year.
