Do you think the site would benefit from a plant identification forum?

Re: Plant ID forum
Great idea! Tooting my own horn, I know, but I am awesome at being able to tell if something is a plant or not!

Re: Plant ID forum
Just so people understand it's almost impossible to ID what variety of tomato or pepper something is from just a pic. Too many varieties that LOOK the same but are not the same.

Aha! There is a plant identification forum! With Other Vegetables. The fact that nobody knew that tells me there are too many subforums?

Well it's kind of like shopping in a store...the more you look around, the more things you discover on the shelves.
It's not what you gather, but what you scatter, that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Heh, heh. You're certainly right. I wasn't thinking about tomato or plant breed identification. More along the lines of plant species identification.

Thanks!
It looks like we have two plant identification forums, now. Should we get rid of one?

Yep we sure do. Go ahead and either merge them or purge one.
