Elephant ears, amaryllis
Elephant ears in the winter... medium ones and big ones. These will die back in a hard freeze but some years we don't get one. Also an amaryllis Minerva, the bulb of which I planted to bloom at this time of year.

There are many kinds of elephant ears.
Some grow to many feet.
AKA taro root like we get in the store to eat.
And yes I have them too.
