It says Alabama and the prior person confirmed it was coming from Alabama. So unsure now…

Alabama's large mail hubs are bad, they might not know that Georgia's are worse. For at least two years, COVID slowed things to a crawl. In a small seed swap that I'm in, reports of letters mailed out before Christmas didn't arrive until April or May. These were all routed through, to or from, AL or GA.Homegrwoninillinois wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 10:00 amTormato wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 8:45 amAtlanta?Homegrwoninillinois wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 7:46 am According to my informed delivery I have a package expected to arrive from Alabama tomorrow…if the post keeps moving as expected. Here, if I mail a letter to just one town over, it goes to a large hub in a bordering state, before coming back. That's 4 to 5 days for a mailbox 5 miles away. Here to Hawaii, 5 thousand miles, takes 3 to 4 days on average.
I like how a Google search for the distance from MA to HI comes up "by car".

It went to Saint Louis Missouri, it isn’t great. The Illinois St. Louis hub is worse though. As long as it makes it in one piece is all that matters.Tormato wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 1:13 pmAlabama's large mail hubs are bad, they might not know that Georgia's are worse. Re: Everything But The Kitchen Sink Swap
I got the package. Wow wow wow.
I am repacking it so the next person has lots of choices. It seems like there are a lot of repeats. I should have it done to mail Wesnesday depending on if I sleep or not lol. I was like a kid in a candy shop. I will tell my husband that it is all your fault that we have to expand the garden again.
this box is packed and heavy. I need the address of the next person in line. I do have to change my wish list. It truly is everything but the kitchen sink. I can't fit a crap baggie in.

Post #48 is continually edited for the lineup.TomatoNY77 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2025 8:10 pm Hello, I am wondering if I missed something.... How do I know when the box is expected to arrive ?
I now have to find calco420's address. I have not heard back from Old Chef for their's. So, you are likely either 3rd or 4th on the list, possibly 2nd.

@stitchingmom I sent the box out today and will post the tracking in a pm later tonight. I hope you have as much fun looking through it and picking varieties as I did. There sure were a lot of varieties of micros in the box. Have fun

@WindyWI1968 Sorry I scared you to death! I thought I had backed out of this.WindyWI1968 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 6:51 pm @stitchingmom I sent the box out today and will post the tracking in a pm later tonight. I will try to get this on its way no later than Monday. @Tormahto Is it ok if I send it UPS 2 day, or is USPS written in stone? Also, sorry I didn't provide my mailing address. I've been in kind of a haze for a few weeks.
Thank you!
SO GLAD to be back! I was locked out for about three months, for some strange reason.
Missed you all terribly!

Can someone send me the next address, please? Box is ready to go, but I don't know where to send it. Thank you!
