I am also saving seeds from Norfolk's GMO purple tomato and can send them. If anyone interested in growing them please let me know here or Pm and I'll mark them for you. I will not send them for general swap because I don't want them to end up in the toilet.

i will post a few that i will be sending.

cherry category

alston everlasting
black cherry
maglia rosa
medovaya kaplya
redfield cherry, dont bother looking this one up, you won't find anything. this one
came to me from craig lehoullier as redfield beauty. it isn't. it is a pink cherry tomato.
flavor is sweet, and we think very good. it has been a favorite of slugs

larger size
honey and sugar a nice orange from one of carolyns seed offers. i can't grow kellogs
breakfast or kellogs cross for the life of me, but i can grow this one.
milkas red bulgarian
polaris
wladecks

bean category

beurre de rocquencourt yellow bush bean
the ONLY bush bean that grew well for me this year.
i will update later

cucumber
a pickler i got from sandhill. it might be rhinish pickle. it has black spines.
this was the only cucumber last year to survive a wood chuck, and my sons inadvertent
hoeing up weeds. seeds planted this year produced the same cucumber, so in to the swap they come.
good crop, decent taste. on the larger size for a pickler. seeds are from 2023.

Sooo it appears I owe the USPS an apology. I found the envelope from last year that DH swore he had mailed... So that means I now have the packets of seeds from 2022 and 2023 that I can send in after pulling out some for me since this year has been an almost total fail... Most zip bags have 10 or more seeds but I am thinking I may want to bring that down to 5 or so per bag and make up additional bags especially for things like Gandalf which is a lovely variegated dwarf bi color. What do you think @Tormato? I also have a bag of seeds for Orange Lesya Pepper labeled just for you since you wanted it last year and I had grown it.

Seeds in this group of bags sitting in front of me are
Big Hill - bicolor semi det crosses more easily then some tomatoes seeds are unbagged
Puck - the patio size plant with dark tomatoes not the red micro dwarf
Gandalf - variegated dwarf LATE season, smaller heart shaped bi color (like a heart drawing not like an oxheart)
Utyonok - yellow orange very early det dwarf? rugose, regular leaf foliage on a small plant think patio size
Alaskan Fancy - red early
Orange Lesya sweet pepper - unbagged but the only pepper I grew that year

Not bagged yet but I also have Extreme Bush from Victory Seeds to send in. Hoping I will have some Cosmic Cream Centriflor seeds to send in. These are not yet ripe but are totally black here... https://wildmountainseeds.com/product/c ... entriflor/

What do I think? Less work for me, in case of if I would have been the one to re-bag, if there is an extra demand for seeds. ;)

In that case I will rebag them making sure there are at least 5 seeds in each bag so you have less work but I will leave your bag of pepper seeds alone. AND this year I will take them to the post office to make sure they are mailed.

I've always considered hearts and some oxhearts to be like a heart drawing.

And, some oxhearts are more piriform. I'm curious how you define "oxheart". Since the shapes can be quite different, I define oxheart purely by when it is part of the variety name. Otherwise, I call a heart a (drawing-type) heart and a piriform a piriform, never using the confusing term, oxheart.

I think of oxhearts as shaped like a physical heart. They don't really grow well for me so not much experience with them. Gandalf and some of my Micro Tom plants make tomatoes shaped very much like a heart shaped locket you would give someone. I really don't want folks to be looking for the larger more solid piriform type "oxhearts" when they grow Gandalf as the tomatoes aren't large but are very tasty and the green tomatoes made the best green tomato salsa I have had.

If I cut the legs off of one side of my table, I can read that. Wait, all I have to do is tilt the laptop 90 degrees. ;)

Ooohhh, clicking on it turns it upright and enlarges it.

how bout a tomato junction exclusive.

from my anna russian cross that i have been messing with since about 2015,
i have a pretty much stable variety, a chocolate, saladette, torpedo shaped
tomato that passes the taste test with the wife and me.
seeds for lempi chocolate will be sent in. there may still be some variation,
but not much to matter i think. seeds will be f8.

ya heard it here first
