Gardening is a big dose of positivity no matter what happens. So long as there are seeds, there is hope.

Since seeds are hope, most of us here at the Junction have a LOT of hope!
You take care of yourself, Tormato. I can wait as well.

Just edited and updated my requests, but I'm in no hurry...warm weather comes late up here. And if not this year, hope I'll still be around for next year! Most important...take care of yourself and don't knock yourself out!

my greenhouse got shredded a couple of weeks ago when those storm winds came thru, today I was down there cleaning everything up, now every bone and muscle is screaming. Ibuprofen is my best friend.

That there second M has been...um...divulged...and many thanks!
You must have been reading my mind (in the Short Story section) but I'd been looking into the Bacon, Lettuce, and This variety for a while now and haven't been able to find any links to it; anyone else?

Re: 2023/2024 arrivals and departures
WOW!!! Oh, WOW!!!!!! I just got my MMMM seed package from Tormato. THANK YOU Tormato!!!!!!!! Wow. Wow. There are 305 seed packages in here!!! I'm flabbergasted. I'm overwhelmed. I'm joyous. This is better than any Christmas! So many things I wanted. I'm also vaguely sad, there's simply no way I can plant all of these. Help! How do I cope with this bounty? I don't have the room or seed starting place (and I thought my place was big, lol). Heck, how would I even taste all of these! Just wanted to say to Tormato, and everyone that sends in seeds, thank you for all that you do!! I sent in a paltry 50 seed packets in October, I feel overwhelmed by what I got in return. I will do my best to plant as many of these as possible, and I'm soooo inspired to save seeds from everything and send them in next year! Next year I will send in many more than 305 packets so everyone can have this same experience I have had. Now that I've gotten all these packets I see how everyone is creating their seed packets in little plastic baggies with slips of paper, so now I know how to do it like everyone else (someone should put a picture on the forum, I don't really know how to do that) (actually probably someone did but it's buried somewhere and I didn't see it, sorry!) Also, thank you Tormato for the Ghiradelli chocolate bar you threw into the package. Totally unexpected and totally delightful. Thank you for the best piece of mail I've received in at least thirty years!!!
Bee happy and pollinate freely!

Re: 2023/2024 arrivals and departures
@Tormato I received my first swap package. Between fulfilling wishlists, packing the sheer volume of seeds in new participant packages, subdividing larger seed packets into smaller ones, keeping track of all participants, making multiple trips to the post office, responding to messages - I wouldn’t be surprised if each large package takes you 8 hours. I am humbled that you donate this much time for people you do not know. Although you indicated that you were behind, to be able to send this before March is astonishing to me. I don’t know how I can ever reciprocate what you have given, other than to pay if forward and to continue to send back either varieties that are low, or are new to the swap. It seems from reading through past posts that you have been doing this for over a decade. Thank you for the wonderful experience and for all the other packages that have brought joy to other participants.
